Volunteer in Cambodia with ISF
Our volunteers have joined us for many reasons: to improve their skills, to use their professional experience to benefit others or simply to help a cause close to their hearts. Whatever the reason, ISF volunteers are inspiring and dedicated people who are making a real impact in the lives of children in Cambodia.
WHAT VOLUNTEERING IN CAMBODIA COULD MEAN TO YOU
Our volunteers are changing lives every day, and developing valuable skills and international friendships along the way. Volunteer in Cambodia with ISF and you’ll be changing lives and giving something back. However, you’ll also be gaining new skills, meeting new people, learning how to communicate in an intercultural environment and improving your CV.
WHO ARE OUR VOLUNTEERS?
As a small, ambitious organisation with many projects on the go, we need different skill sets. Most of our volunteers have helped our students improve their English skills by assisting in class. We’ve also had volunteers doing fundraising and communications work or training our staff in mental health. Click here to read the story of one of our former volunteers.
We’re accepting applications throughout the year 2018 to start ASAP.
Frequently Asked Questions
I want to volunteer, but…
I’m not sure it’s right for me
When you apply to volunteer in Cambodia with ISF, we will invite you for a Skype conversation. This helps us both to get to know each other better and see if it’s a good fit. We want to make sure you feel confident and supported, so if you have any doubts or questions, please get in touch.
I don’t have much time
Volunteering for ISF doesn’t need to take a lot of time. We’re small enough that we can be flexible. Tell us how much time you have available and together we can find a suitable project we’re both excited about.
I don’t want to teach
Volunteering doesn’t have to mean teaching English. We can always use skilled volunteers to help out. If there’s nothing in our open volunteer positions that fits your interests but you think you have a great idea for a project, get in touch!
I’m unable to come to Cambodia
You don’t need to come to Cambodia to volunteer with ISF. We have some research projects in mind that could easily be done by somebody abroad. With today’s ICT tools, you could even help our students by speaking English on Skype, for example.
I have a disability
ISF aims to be fully inclusive. Unfortunately, life in Cambodia can be challenging if you have a physical disability. We don’t want this to stop any committed volunteers from joining us, however, so please get in touch if you’re interested and we can come up with a solution together.
